Want a little excitement?! Montreal Oystefest will be a busy place!
-Don’t miss the Montreal Amateur Shucking competition as well as the Canadian National Qualifiers and this year the Oyster Opening World Cup with global champions like Eamon Clark from Toronto, Michael Moran from Ireland, and Xavier Caille from Belgium and William “Chopper" Young from the US! 14 national and international competitors will compete for the World Cup this year and you won’t want to miss it!
-The Chef’s Seafood Tower Invitational will pit five Montreal chefs against each other on a mystery box of pounds and pounds of seafood - shuck, snap, crack, plate - who will design the most spectacular seafood platter you’ve ever seen? Lobsters, crab, shrimp, clams, scallops and, of course, oysters! And the best part?! All platters will be auctioned off for our charities!
-And as always the Mott’s Best Caesar in town competition - who will take home the prize for best caesar?! Calgary invented the caesar…Montreal’s gonna reinvent it.
-Plus a few more special surprises in store for all our guests!
